1851 - Jan Stroebel commissioned by Amsterdam Lord Mayor to create a back up painting to the original Night Watch for the Rijksmuseum
1852 - Stroeble's Night Watch presumed to replace Rembrandt's original at Rijksmuseum - during restoration of Rembrandt'sNight Watch.
1941 - Stroebel's Night Watch presumed once again to replace Rembrandt's masterwork at Rijksmuseum as protection from Nazi's plundering the great art of Europe. The original was hidden from the invaders in the Netherland caves.
1944-1984 Stroeble's Night Watch languishes in storage at the Rijkmuseum.
1985 Stroebel's Night Watch sold at Christie's Amsterdam Auction,Seller,Anonymous
1986 - 1992 - Stroebel's Night Watch exhibited at Magna Gallery where more than 5 million visitors viewed the monumental work.
Magna Gallery relocates in Portland,Oregon.Venture Fine Arts Magna Publishing where Stroebel's Night Watch is once again presented to the public. 1993
1997 - Stroeble's Night Watch finds its permanent home in San Francisco in the collection of Mr. Robert C. Pritikin. Installed and restored by Artist and master art restorer Mr. Joseph R. Carmichael Pres. of Fame Artist Inc.
